Contingency plans!

Okay, folks. Tell me, what's your contingency plan should the writer's strike last until April or longer like predicted. I decided to watch Stargate: Atlantis from the very beginning and finally catch up! And maybe - just maybe - catch up on the last 3 seasons of Smallville :D And lotsa fics of course!

What about you? Do you have any old/new TV shows that you want to catch up on/watch again during the strike?

I am going to watch Doctor Who in order, and watch the Pushing Daisies in my tivo.
Then start Friday Night Lights.

Oh wow, Dr Who? Well, I think that you don't have to worry about having nothing to watch then, huh? That's like 30 years worth of eps! O.O Or do you plan to watch the last two doctors - the new ones - only?

I've seen most of Christopher Eccleston's episodes. My David Tennant ones are out of order, and I'm spoiled for like half.

Phew! I thought the whole 30 years :D A friend of mine has the whole series and she saw every one of the eps O.O I like the ones with Captain Jack :D

I like House but I watched it because of his relationship with Wilson. I don't like the other characters much. Well, except for Cuddy. I like Cuddy. So basically, I ffwd-ed through everything that wasn't the three of them :D

If I may rec you a great House/Wilson slash fic: "Lost Causes" (http://www.pandemonium.me.uk/eos/eosindex.htm) by Eos and it's sequels. The best fic in this fandom, in my opinion!

I'm behind so many shows atm that, should the strike keep on going, I won't have a problem finding stuff to watch. I'll start with Psych and Dexter. Then Heroes. And I'm thinking of catching with s2 and s3 of BSG, too.

I need to catch up on Heroes. This season was kind of lame and I somehow fell out of love with that show *sigh* And I think that's it. I think I have one ep of Women's Murder Club to catch up on... But I gave up on Moonlight and some other shows... But at least Psych will return in January so there will be something to watch :D

I don't watch TV. The last TV series I watched was Lois & Clark and I'm still pissed that it was cancelled after a 4th season ending cliffy. I hope, though, the strike ends soon. I feel sorry for all the people out of work.

The 4th season had so much potential and they blew it with stupid stories. You really didn't miss much. Anyway, it ended with Clark answering the front door and there was a baby on the porch for him and Lois and of course, no explanation. I hate not knowing where the baby came from, who put it there, why, etc.

After the 3rd season, the show was renewed for a 4th and 5th season but I heard that after the 4th season, Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher didn't want to do the show anymore and with Smallville just starting, I guess the powers to be thought there would be too much Superman.

Yay, lucky you. I think that if the strike lasts long enough, I might even really try to catch up on Smallville. I gave it up around the time Jensen was introduced because it totally jumped the shark for me with the whole magic thing... but when I'm bored, I do crazy things - like watch Smallville :D

Doctor Who in order from 1963 till now
Roswell (again) - I really enjoy Max in pain
Angel - for the fic I am trying to work on
Dark Shadows - it is a MUST (again)
Quantum Leap - really enjoying Scott Bacula in women's clothes
I think this will keep me alive for a few months

Hmm, well I really want to start watching all the Classic Doctor Who. And I've got Band of Brothers sitting innocently over there, just waiting for a free moment. Catch up on Numb3rs (sadly I missed most of season three) and I have three seasons of Millenium that need to be watched. Also Life of Mars has been sitting on my hardrive for far to long.

Oh and of course, Jeeves and Wooster. *loves*

Then of course, there are always books. *glee*

Also, (man I love the edit comment button) where on earth do you find your layouts? I've always meant to ask but just never got around to it.

I make the layouts myself. The only code I use is for the header. The rest is all done through "manage - customize" :D

Jeeves and Wooster is a British comedy from the early 90's (which was far better than early 90's television in America)it stars Steven Fry and Hugh Laurie and is just *brilliant*.

*Smirk* you can find it on deep discount for about 30 something for the whole series.

And it is *brilliantly* funny.

Yes I did. Since I am uploading it on a ###### and watching it by during that time. To be honest, my favorite is the Third. I kind of don't like how the First got rid of Susan. I am still trying to force myself into watching the Second. He did a marvelous job but he is just not my type. And also now I am missing time to watch.

The episode The Three Doctors in season 10 is just amazing.
