Even though I stopped watching Smallville a long time ago, I still love the old fics that were written during S1 and 2 when the series was actually still good. I'm thinking about buying S1 on DVD because Amazon offers it now for 14.99$ only! I need to re-awaken my love for the show to get back into the fandom. But my only love these days seem to be future fics. Rageprufrock's "Visiting Hours", Jenn's "Somewhere I Have Never Traveled", Henry Jones Jr.'s "A Date With the President"... These are my old favorites *sighs in happiness* And the way issaro recorded Jenn's fic... I can't cuddle and pet that podfic more *izinlove*

But my point is - were you ever a fan of the show and did you read fics in this fandom? And if you did, what were your favorite stories? *curious*

I have so many un-read fantasy books at home but after working with fantasy books day in, day out, I so don't feel like reading them in my spare time too! That's why I decided to do something about "American Gods" by Gaiman. That book has been sitting on the "currently reading" shelf in my GoodReads account for months now! Today, I finally crossed the mid-point! Yay!

If you`re looking to buy a Smallville DVD, I`d advise the second Season because they feature what are probably the funniest episode commentaries ever.
I nearly rolled off the sofa during the actor`s commentary for "Red". They discuss Clex and the Hulk and generally seem on drugs. *g*

But my point is - were you ever a fan of the show and did you read fics in this fandom? And if you did, what were your favorite stories? *curious*

As my first slash pairing ever I peaked into the world of Smallville fanfic and read some schmoopy Lex/Clark ones and some they-are-enemies-who-love-each-other future-fic ones. Or where they never became enemies in first place. This was one fandom where I really went for the future fics.

I want to buy at least some DVD to this show because I really miss it! Lex and Clark..., the CLex. But I also need to go for the cheapest one because the customs and VAT are killing me every time buy a DVD set *groans* I used to read everything CLex that had a happy ending :) But I had a special fondness for hurt!Clark :D

Dude, I'm *still* a fan of SV. Apparently I have some masocistic streak or something but... it's really just all pure fun for me. I mean I know that I'm supposed to be getting all up in arms about the writing and acting and plot and blah blah blah. It's just, it's my fun show. I don't take it seriously and in return I get the pretty and the sexy and it's *all* good.

Dude, I read *everything* clex. Even if it breaks my heart. I have a lot of favorite stories but I've always leaned towards the future-fic awesomeness. There's always the chance of Con/Kon in them. :)

Dude, Seasons 1-3 were the best of the series. Although be warned, if you get season 3 and you're a fan of Lex? Your heart will be a broken.
