MySpace

Folks, please, explain to me the appeal of MySpace. It's butt ugly, cluttered and... simply yucky if you ask me. It's so flashy and everything blinks and moves, it gives me a migraine. Finding your way around is another head-ache giving thing because there are no simple search machines. And the pictures and frames etc. are always out of order, too dependent on the member's screen resolution...

Butt ugly and unappealing doesn't even cover it for me. But if you think it's the best thing since sliced bread, could you tell me why? Because so far, I've seen no reason why people are so bonkers about it...

I use it, but only to find (personal) friends and family. It's great for those folks who you've lost contact with.

Okie. So it's mostly for RL friends, huh? Hehe, then it's nothing for me. I think that most of my RL acquaintances don't even know what MySpace is :P

I don't get it that much either...it took one of my friends a few months of begging to get me to join...now I just use it to keep up with high school friends who I've lost contact with or some family....

Hehe, my school friends don't even know what MySpace is. It's just, it's so ugly that I didn't understand its appeal :D

I do not understand why people are obsessed with it. I will admit - I *do* have a MySpace account... but for me, it is one of the few ways I can keep in touch with one particular person. Of course, people from school have found me and I've friended them... but I only log on to check a message that one particular friend sends me. And when I do log on, I may send a message out to someone I have not heard from in a while. But I am nowhere near obsessed with it.

You are right.. the setup is awful, it's ugly, and well, I have no real interest in it save for a few people. And most of them try to find me elsewhere anyway. Blah... *hugs* I've only customized my page enough to give me a pretty background and fill my info in. I can't really stand it otherwise. ^_^
