Drabbles: Dean & Ben - Supernatural

keire_ke asked for a sequel to my drabble "Protecting Secrets" and because I couldn't decide between two ideas, I used both and I wrote two drabbles. I hope you won't mind, dear ;) Both drabbles beta'ed by yami_tai!

Title: Eight Years Later, in New Orleans

Summary: They're fighting zombies...


They're fighting zombies that have infested the swamps that spread outside the town after a hurricane or two. Dean's hacking them down, Sam's burning the buggers but there are too many of them and suddenly, they're surrounded...

But then there's a dark shadow covering the moon and for a moment, all Dean could think is "Batman"...

The shadow sweeps down and the zombies stagger away, screeching in horror. Black wings beating the air, the creature's eyes glow red in the smirking pale face as it lands lightly.

Dean gasps, whispering: "Ben?"

Ben grins, fangs glistening. "Hey Dad, how’s it going?"

Summary: Dean bursts into Bobby's house...


Dean bursts into Bobby's house, calling out.

Then he sees him, the boy, sitting in the lumpy arm-chair. There's nothing left of the cocky kid he had met a couple of months ago. This boy's slumped, pale, eyes brimming with tears.

"Ben?" Dean whispers.

The boy snaps his head up. "Dad!" Ben cries out, flinging himself into Dean's arms. "Mom's dead! The house's gone and you're my dad and you said to come here... I found you..." He sobs.

Dean sinks to his knees, shocked, saddened and overjoyed at once. "I'm here. I gotcha."

He hugs Ben tight, his son…

The look on Dean's face in drabble the first! It was awesome. XD

The second though the second killed me with the wibbles. Dean is precious, happy sad and shocked all at once and little Ben finiding Dean all on his own! *wibbles*
