So, I've been working on a short story in the Psych fandom called "Five Things Shawn Didn't Tell His Father" and I have four of them done but the fifth one is a tough little bugger! *glares at it* Maybe it's because this is not a funny ficlet, it's even rather dark...

But I do have one plot bunny that was born out of me reading "Hellgate: Exodus" by Mel Odom. I mean, this book is simply made for a Supernatural/Hellgate fusion. Just imagine it...

The Winchesters were always a part of the secret society of Templar, keeping the world safe from monsters. Sam leaves, not wanting to have anything to do with the society, Dean stays and becomes one of the best Templar, super armor, technology and magic and all. Then the Hellgate in Lawrence opens and demons stream out. The Templar from the whole US try to contain the damage, to keep the demons from spreading. Sam sees what's happening on the news and he's determined to return to Lawrence to help his former comrades - and his family - fight the demons...

It's almost word for word the story of Simon Cross, the main hero of "Hellgate"... except, he doesn't have a brother and it takes place in London but everything else fits!
