Pushing Daisies and Eureka

After reading the excited reviews of the Pushing Daisies pilot, I have to say that there must be something seriously wrong with me because I seem to be the only one who isn't all hubba hubba crazy about this series. Sure, it's funny but... It just feels off, not serious enough for my liking, too parody-like (and I hate parodies), too artistic... I very much prefer down-to-earth action/cop/mystery shows :(

And after watching last week's episode of Eureka, I really have to find some Jo/Zoe fics. I'm so not into femslash but these two would be like awesome together :D

I think I would have liked it better if Adam Brody accepted the role of Ned as planned :(

I didn't even know he was supposed to have the part! I'm pretty much enamoured with Lee Pace!Ned but I have to say I wouldn't have minded if Adam Brody had accepted the part. Still, I have much love for Lee Pace in that role so I'm not complaining *g*

I was going to give Pushing Daisies a go but then I read that Anna Friel is in it! And I really can't stand her!! So now, I'm not so sure...

Yeah, she is another reason why I'm not all that crazy about the series. All she does is smile stupidly throughout the whole ep *rolls eyes*
