I'm not sure what to think of fanfiction that was at first available for everyone and then the authors f-locked it... Hey, I am NOT saying that it's wrong, it's their God-given right to f-lock whatever they want after all. It's just... I find it rather selfish - selfish on my part, not on theirs - to friend someone only because I want to read their fics, when I'm not interested in them as a person, as a friend. Yes, I'm weird, I know...

I find it funny when the authors of the CW RPS stories always have Eric Kripke hanging around the set in their stories. I mean, he himself says that he spends most of his time in LA and not up there, in Vancouver.

I think it would be flattering to have someone friend you just to read your stories. I also think that a lot of folks do that.

Really? *scratches head* To me, it sounds... impersonal :(

Used to feel the same way, until random (immature) people wandered over to some of the HP LJs and reported them, getting some of them suspended. Even the permanent accounts. So I guess, I just don't want any kiddies or any random watchdog types to lurk on my LJ. I still do feel selfish for friending someone just for their stories.. but I understand why they do it now and agree with the motive there.

LOL. It's RPS hon... it's all make-believe by definition. I find it funny to claim my stories being in-character for the same reason 'cause.. hell, 'cause I'm writing slash for god's sake! :D Guess that's why we call it creative license hehe ;)

I never understood the "in character" comments either. I mean, only Kripke could write them "in character" because they are his to misuse and abuse :D
