morgan32 is a gen story but it does contain the Sam/Jess pairing. Yes, that's right but hear me out here. It's an AU fic set in the near future. When Sam was a child the Psi Project - a government project delegated to finding children with special talents - discovered that he had psychic abilities and took him away from John and Dean. The Winchesters were convinced that he died and Sam grew up thinking that his father and brother abandoned him. Years later, Dean is arrested for John's murder and sent to a mental hospital where Sam and Jessica are doctors. Sam is a dreamwalker - he helps his patients through their dreams - but despite what he knows of what his family hunted, he still thinks that Dean is crazy...
