So, Jared wasn't there; obviously he missed his flight because of his shooting schedule...

So, according to some fans Jensen wasn't exactly thrilled about being there - I don't know if it was the masses and masses of fans or Jared's absence or whatever...

So, Supernatural came very close to canceling even though it was the third most popular show on the CW network...

All that makes me feel pretty blue and my hopes for a possible season 4 took a nosedive. There is no way we can get better ratings this season since we won't go only against CSI and Grey's Anatomy but against The Office now too. And with no promotion whatsoever...

A friend who was there asked him in the autographs that he felt uneasy not having Jared bu his side.

Aww... That's like so cute.

But I'm still seriously depressed about how close the show came to cancelation. I mean, OTH doesn't have our ratings and it was renewed. And we were almost canceled? It really feels like someone wantst his show to fail :(

*hugs* Not a great situation, I must say, especially as ratings really do seem to be everything in the States. But you never know... *ever the optimist* ^_^!

I try to stay optimistic too. But it's really hard when you are this passionate about a series. But I hope that this season is the last for Smallville and possibly for One Tree Hill too. So, they will have only a handful of series left at the end of the next season. This could work to our advantage but I kind of doubt it :(

People need to chill out. I understand being upset about Jared (of, if it were the case, Jensen) not being at these functions. But they need to understand that filming to make these movies/shows is their job. Their job is not to go to every fun function and meet the fans. If they didn't make these shows/movies, what exactly would we have to be a fan of? And nothing is set in stone, when they accept to come to these things. They didn't sign their name is blood and make a pact to give up their life if they aren't there. I just seriously don't understand people sometimes...

And I understood your feelings about a season 4. Dawn Ostroff doesn't like SPN. She is very into the female driven shows (which she has said in various things herself). And I think that by keeping it in the timeslot it is in, she is hoping to scale down viwers so she has a viable excuse for canning the show. And I also happen to think, *because Kripke said he was adding one, not two* females to the show because she thinks that viewers will get upset and stop watching.

Yes, and so many of Ostroff's shows are oh so succesful *rolls eyes* It's obvious that she shouldn't be there. I mean, they canned Everwood but OTH is being renewed despite the low ratings. I mean, what the heck? It just really bothers me that they are ruining a great show. It's sad :(
