Of Eureka's extras and the scare of the day

The scare? I went shopping today and when I returned back to my car, it wouldn't start. It took me ten minutes to get it going. Unfortunately, I had to pick up my mum from another supermarket. And I couldn't start the car again then! But we were at least partially fortunate - mum's ex-colleague was there and her husband and another really nice man helped us start it. Obviously, some sealing ring broke and the gasoline was seeping through, running down the surface of the engine. And our mechanic is out at the moment...

Eureka? Guys, you should see and listen to the extras! Their commentaries are hilarious. Obviously, the actors and directors etc. are a great bunch of people, a real family as they themselves say.

And Ed Quinn? The actor playing Stark, the unlikable guy? Colin Ferguson (sheriff Carter) says that Ed is nothing like Stark. He is funny, he loves to surf and obviously, he has only two speeds - "full on or panic" :D In the commentary to the deleted scenes, they said that Ed called them after one particular scene, yelling: "I just filmed a scene surrounded by bunnies!" X))

Or there is a scene in which Stark is lying in a hospital bed and he tells Carter that he needs to talk to him. In private. In the original script, he should have sat on the bed only in his boxer and an open shirt. But the director called the producers saying: "Guys, this might look more homoerotic than you want it to." So the producers said: "Let him keep his pants." So, Stark is sitting there, in his pants, showing his abs (great abs, btw) and Colin Ferguson is repeating over and over in his mind: "Look him in the face, don't look at his abs. Look him in the face..." XD

Hilarious! If you liked Eureka, buy the DVD. It's so worth it!

And since we are talking about funny things - does anybody remember in which article Jensen Ackles commented on Jared Padalecki giving him an one-armed hug after Children Shouldn't Play...? And in which article he was talking about the ep Heart and that it was the idea of Jared's dogs dying that made them both cry in the ep? I can't find the articles! X(

Actually, I thought the whole 'Jensen isolates himself' 'Jared goes to him and arm-hugs him' 'tells him it was a great scene', was after the shooting of the last scene of AHBL? In any case, I'm pretty sure it was during Asylum that we heard that story.

Yup, our mechanic was here today. He is such a nice guy. And it was the gas pump, spraying gasoline all over the engine X(
