Okay, I get that the spnstoryfinders comm is moderated. But since when are comments to entries SCREENED for pete's sake?! Doesn't that deny the purpose of this community?

Did it happen to your post? Maybe it was the poster who put it like that. As far as I know, the comm is not settled to screen the comments, but there's no way to know if the posted settled the post to be when you moderate.

Yup, it happened when I was responding to an entry. But told me that "according to the community settings" or something like that, not the poster's setting O.o

I'm gonna check them again, but from what I saw in many posts, this doesn't seem to be the rule. I'll check and if the comm settings were changed, I'll contact the mods.

I checked the community settings and screening comments is not default. It was the poster choice. The message you got was probably one more of the weird stuff from lj.
