Of this and that and I'm back! :)

I'm back from Prague. I had a blast too. We saw lotsa great things, castles and gardens etc. Every evening, I thought my feet would fall off but it was still fun :) The Book Fair was okay too. The girl from Serbia was only so-so, she had like ten minutes so everything was rather rushed. But the girl from Germany was really fun! My boss made a great deal (I hope that I translated everything correctly - I asked like three times if the price for the publishing rights was correct *blushes*) and we ordered a lot of fantasy books from German authors. Fun times! :)

On the way back, I finished reading "The Courtship of Princess Leia" by Dave Wolverton, my first Star Wars novel in years (Timothy Zahn's "Thrawn Trilogy" is still the best though). I read it in my native language because I found out that I'm getting out of touch with the Czech phrases... which is a bad thing for a translator. Yikes!

And the first thing I did after coming home? Right, I started the download of the latest Supernatural ep which turned out to be amazing! Huzzah!

I'm happy to be home again! *hugs flist*

I sounds like very intersting time. I am glad that I am not only one in our town who is Thrawn lover. I think you should try the Hand of Thrawn books:)

Hm, I think it's not Admiral Thrawn per se, it's more the way Timothy Zahn writes. He has a great style with no boring sequences. This Star Wars book had a rather long and boring beginning, but then it picked up :)

I think Zahn´s books are exception from the bunch of SW books. I like Thrawn as the most intelligent so called villain. He almost defeated the New Republic and i think he was killed in very stupid way.
