Supernatural: 2x19 "Folsom Prison Blues"

katikatWow, finally angst again! I like humor, but not in this show. It's a horror show. Full of angst. Too much fun is... well, really too much sometimes.
It was so good to have Henricksen back. Unlike other fans, I love that guy. I mean, if you didn't know anything about this supernatural business, what would you think about Sam and Dean? I think that Henricksen really is trying to find another explanation for what's going on around these two but if you know zip about ghosts and you have no reason to believe that they exist, Sam and Dean really seem rather nutty, don't they? Well, and the fact that Henricksen is really hot - at least in my opinion - doesn't hurt either :P Oh, and don't forget his little smirk every time they escape :D
Mara? As in Mara Jade from Star Wars? Cool. It was nice to see a female character that didn't jar my nerves. I hope she will come back in the future.
Garwin Sanford and Jeff Kober. Yay. Two really great actors in two really great roles. I was happy to see them on this show. They do spooky so good :D
It was really funny to see Sam and Dean in prison. Dean fit in so well that it scared Sam and I loved Sam's response "Because I have an idiot for a brother". Poor suffering Sam. But I loved the dynamics between Sam and Dean here. Nothing fazed Dean, he could handle anything, suffer through anything with his sarcasm and optimism. Sam, always anxious and twitchy :D He really needs a big brother.
And there was one thing that I completely adored - the colors. I don't know what they used or did in this ep, but the visuals looked amazing. Everything was so sharp and bright and dark at the same time. Dean's eyes, his features, all angles and shadows... Wow, that was amazing. A great look there!
