Even though I saw this episode like two days ago, I had to step back and think about it first because it kinda affected me deeply, especially the ending.

So first, the cons:
a) the portrayal of werewolves - I'm a big werewolf fan, they are like my favorite supernatural beings so it disappointed me how they turned out here. I imagine werewolves as giant, furry beings on four legs. Here... well... they were definitely ugly :(

b) not enough Dean - I mean, I know that this was basically a Sam!ep, but still. It felt like Dean wasn't really there. Until the end that is.

c) the whole storyline was rather weak and felt a bit too much like a Harlequin romance with an unhappy ending. I would have preferred a lot more action and suspense :(

The pros:
a) the bickering between the boys - I really miss it when it's not there, like in the episode that aired last week. Dean was such a geek about the weres. And Sam's Disneyland comment was priceless!

b) Sam's hot body - come on! That's one big plus :D

c) and of course the ending. It was the first time that Supernatural really made me cry. Sam crying and Dean crying for Sam. And it also showed how different Sam and Dean are. Sam cried like the world was ending and Dean, only one heart-breaking tear... And the flinch of course!

d) oh, the music, the music! Silent Lucidity... the very song I adored in the pilot of The Hat Squad. And it fit perfectly here.

So, to sum it up. The episode wasn't excellent but it was really good. The last two minutes compensated the fans for all the cons this episode had. I think it's these two minutes that I'll remember most clearly from this episode!

And no new ep for the next three weeks! Wah, I will cry :(
