Of LJ layout, SPN (what else? :P), weather and my job!

Huzzah! I changed my LJ layout once again. Well, I had to, you see? I stumbled across this gorgeous SPN pic of Sam and Dean and I played a bit with it and yay, it looked that good! I'm not really content with the colors of the entry part of the layout but I spent over two hours trying to match them with the pic, then just gave up. But I still think it looks rather good :)

My love for SPN and the fanfics in this fandom knows no measure. I still have to write something about the latest episode, though *makes a note* I spend too much time reading fanfiction these days, really. And spoilers. Yes, I was a bad bad girl and took a look at the spoilers. And let me tell you - without spoiling you at all - that we have excellent emo stuff to look forward to! *beams*

But why am I actually talking about this series? Well, not that I need a reason to gush about gorgeous guys, really - but I'm really into pre-series, kid!brothers gen fics. Imagine my delight when I found out that there were two (that I know of) communities that concentrated exclusively on these fics! sn_flashback and spn_flashback! Huzzah! Another reason to bounce around like a yo-yo :D

Yesterday, the temperature outside was around 10-13 °C. On Friday, it should be -15 °C in the morning. Yeah, why don't we drop the temperature 30 degrees in five days *sarcastic*

So, I sent off the translation of R. A. Salvatore's "Streams of Silver" to my publisher and now I'm back to Fiona McIntosh *groans* I can't wait to finish this trilogy. And when it's over and done with, I don't want to see these books ever again! Yuck. I have yet to find an author who would revel so much in needless torture and killing in their books.

But on the bright side, I've received a raise from my boss! And not some peanuts, but 30 % more! I suspect it's because his competitor told my boss that if I asked for a job in his publishing house, he would give me more money. Folks obviously think that I'm good at what I'm doing! *giddy*
