Manga: "Hands Off! 4 - 6" by Kasame Katsumoto

The "Hands Off!" manga started as a funny stuff with just a drop of angst. But now it's just the opposite. Angst pure.

Everything turned upside down with the appearance of the Koutari character. On the outside he is this outgoing boy who is really nice to others, especially to Kotaro. Only Yuuto doesn't allow that guy to fool him. Koutari is not just bad, he is crazy. And he is out to get revenge on Tatsuki. And when he does get it, it has tragical consequences...

It's so sad to watch Tatsuki head downhill fast while he refuses any help from Kotaro. And one can't wonder that Kotaro gets so pissy when Tatsuki behaves so coldly towards him all the time. And Yuuto is the only one who knows how the cousins feel about each other but he can't tell because he would have to reveal his own special ability. It's quite tragic and I wouldn't have expected that when I started reading it.

I have noticed that Tokyopop must have lowered the costs for this manga because the cover is now your usual "paper" stuff. It doesn't have this plastic "feel" with a shiny picture of the main characters on it... :(

I will definitely keep buying these books. I need to know how this story will continue because book 6 ends with a terrible cliffhanger... 4,5 stars out of five.

We really do have a lot in common! Hands Off! is one of my favorite mangas. I just got back from the bookstore where I purchased, among other things, volume 7; I was debating whether to check LJ or just sit down and read it. Should I take your post as a sign?
