I started to watch Mushishi. At first, I didn't know what to think about it since the story is really weird (I mean - Mushi? O.o) and I don't like the animation style much but then it grabbed me. You have to see more than one or two episodes to really get into it. The Japanese legends are quite weird but I think they would think the same about our fairy tales. The plot is always rather intriguing and the setting simply gets to one. I love the quiet voices they use and the mellow music to invoke the right änd a bit nostalgic atmosphere... I think, this one is a keeper :)

Date: 2005-12-19 09:11 pm (UTC)While I'm here, I want to thank you for sending me the DVDs! They came on Saturday, but I haven't tried watching them yet. Jay's adding memory to my PC this week, so I'm waiting for him to do the upgrade, first. Sometimes I have trouble playing disks, and have to copy all the files to my HD in order to play them. He thinks the upgrade will help a lot.
I mailed a package out to you today, but it won't come in time for Christmas. It's just a little something. Watch out for it, okay?! *huggles*
