I love the Lightwood siblings so much. And the way Alec talks to Max here... it just sets my heart aflutter. I missed this so much in the books where everybody just kept sending Max away, telling him to be quiet, not to bother them... And here, Alec actually takes the time to explain to Max what's happening, be kind to him. And it's wonderful.

I'm loving this show so much. And, as mean as it sounds, I'm quite amused by how salty the book author is because of it, because of the fact that more and more people are saying that the show, the portrayal of the characters, is so much better than in the books.
