katikatGroundhog Summer... where Delinda is drugged and almost raped but kicks the guy's ass like whoa instead. I loved that she called Danny for help, not her dad or her mom but Danny. Because even though she broke up with him she knew he would be there for her in a second! That was lovely. I think it's really sweet that Danny is friends with most if not all of his exes. And even his old buddy who turned out to be transgender has a sweet spot for him!
Semper Spy... where Ed pretends to go on vacation to test Danny's ability to lead the casino. Hilarity ensues. The funniest episode yet, the way Big Ed and Danny kept trying to one-up each other!
Pros and Cons... where everybody is duped by a pretty girl, Danny included. I think what hit me the most was how disappointed Ed was by Danny. Not his own daughter or Nessa, but Danny. Despite the fact that it was Danny who caught her. Yeah, on the one hand it's sweet that Ed holds Danny to a higher standard than his own daughter, on the other hand, Danny simply can't live up to it, he will fail. Also, yay for Paul Ben-Victor and Vincent Ventresca guest-starring in this one! They were together in The Invisible Man!
Luck be a Lady... where a singer comes to perform at the casino and Ed's female ex-partner is in her protective detail. The best thing, IMO, was the scene with Ed's wife and Danny. She really, really, really likes Danny. When she called him a sweetheart, I aww'd.
