katikatBattling Baker Brothers... where Baker's twin arrives and they are both caught by the VC. The best scene - a hilarious one - is where Zeke and Myron come to their captain to convince him not to list Baker as AWOL for 24 hours, to allow them to search for him. You can see how much the actors enjoyed that scene, a funny break from all the emotional, depressing stuff.
Nowhere to Run... where Percell kills a Vietnamese boy and Zeke and Myron do their damnest to get him out of his funk. Again, there are some really hilarious scenes with Zeke and Myron. The actors play off of each other so well! It also features Nikki, Myron's first love interest on this show. Eh. Never really felt Nikki. It always seems like she isn't in it as much as Myron, in their relationship, I mean. Yeah, they are both in Nam but their experience is so vastly different - she still believes in the system, he doesn't anymore, from personal experience. And you just know it can't end well (spoiler: it doesn't).
Roadrunner... where the unit is sent to rescue a pilot and Zeke freaks out because they're sent to a valley where he lost his whole battalion once. It's really hard to watch this episode, to see Zeke who's always so calm and collected completely freaked out.
Pushin' Too Hard... where their captain gets killed because he's forced to take reporters with him to the bush and thus Myron's stuck with the whole company instead of just his platoon while storming a bunker. I was in tears while listening to the speech Myron gave at the end, it was so sad. Rusty was a great captain, the best.
