Matthew Daddario Is Precious!

I'm really, really, really looking forward to the new ABC Family show Shadowhunters, based on Cassandra Clare's "Mortal Instruments" book series*. And mostly, because of this man *points left* Matthew Daddario, the younger brother of Alexandra Daddario. Matt's playing Alec, the gay Shadowhunter who falls in love with the demon Magnus Bane in the books, in the series played by Harry Shum Jr. And I have to say, Matt is so hot it burns. But not only that, this will be his 3rd queer friendly role. He played a gay man in Delivery Man and he's also in the upcoming queer comedy Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List. And now he'll play Alec... Man, just... MAN! I cannot wait!

* I'm reading the books now and they are nothing special, really. A good idea, true, but only passable writing. But Alec and Magnus... wow, just... wow! Godfrey Gao as Magnus Bane was the best part of the movie, TBH.
