NCIS:NOLA S1

katikatAnd now I'm all caught up on NCIS:NOLA, too. Good, good, I feel so accomplished!
I really loved that Baitfish's first choice of how to get to Pride was through LaSalle. Not Brody, not even Loretta, his sweet Loretta, but through LaSalle. And the way Pride's voice broke when he talked about how he could understand if someone went after him personally, but after Christopher... It fit what Cade told Pride, that for LaSalle, Pride was the father he never had. I love that very, very much.
I also love Patton and Sonja and even though I have some concerns about the cast getting too big - I prefer smaller casts that give each person more time to shine - I'm glad that they are both sticking around. I would love to see more of LaSalle and Sonja's friendship, I loved that she called his girlfriend "Mermaid".
And the scene with LaSalle and Brody and the necklace... that was beautiful. I actually hope that they won't start pushing the nonexistent Brody and LaSalle UST because I love them as siblings. He could, well, not replace her sister to her, you can never replace anyone, but he could give her back the sibling feeling.
(If they have to get LaSalle together with anyone on the show, I would prefer Sonja. Or, from the recurring people, with Addie.)
