In the Flesh S2

In S2, I really liked Simon, his relationship with Kieren was simply amazing. And I'm so glad that Simon chose Kieren over the Second Rising. That was wonderful. The way he LOOKED at Kieren when he found out WHO Kieren was, his absolute AWE, his expression literally said, "I knew you were special." That was beautiful.
I wasn't too happy about the change of format, though. They went from 3 eps to 6 and there was so much unnecessary drama added. Like the kids in the school. Or the guy and his wife... All that felt like a filler and it slowed down the pace considerably. I mean, this has never been a fast moving show but S2 was too slow and I found myself skipping some scenes.
The most beautiful thing, though? The songs by Keaton Henson. I've seen some of his songs used in TW song vids before and they are all so sad and full of melancholy. It fit the show perfectly!
I know that there's been a campaign on Twitter and Tumblr geared towards saving the show but personally, I'm content with how it ended. I fear that if they do continue it, that they will split up Kieren and Simon and that's something I would hate. So yeah, I'm quite content with 2 seasons, even though it does end on a cliffhanger - luckily, it's not Kieren/Simon related, though there is one bit that got me worried, the Prophet declaring Simon a traitor. But if that's it, I'll be happy with that.
