In the Flesh S1
Jul. 30th, 2014 11:40 pmA BBC show about zombies. Well, "partially deceased syndrome sufferers" better said. There's some brain munching but not much. It's mostly about how people handle the reintegrating of the PDS sufferers back into society. Spoiler: not well. I mean, you get why. The zombies were killing people and eating them, of course the survivors hate their guts and look at them with distrust. At the same time, PSD is a health condition that can be kept under control with medication, so... It's like being prejudiced against schizophrenia patients...
This is a BBC mini-series so it's just three 55 min. long episodes. I binge watched it tonight. I still need to get my hands on S2. Overall, it's an interesting topic, that's for sure. Also, the main character is gay and his relationship is what the whole thing turns around, so to speak. Which helps. Especially if you don't like zombies much, like me.
