Shuffle!

You know, it's strange but I actually really like the anime Shuffle!. It's het, there is no actual story, just bits and pieces from the life of a boy called Rin. Three girls fell in love with him - a human, a goddess and a demoness. It's kinda cute, especially the Primula girl who sorta moved in with Rin and Kaede without asking. This anime was inspired by a hentai game and it's all about het relationships with a lot of hentai-ish jokes, but it's also really touching because Rin is very kind. He likes all the girls and doesn't want to hurt any of them. To be honest, I can't actually say why I like it. I just do :)

Sounds kinda like Tenchi Muyo! ^___^ I'm already leaning towards the demoness... *laughs*

Well, I've seen only one episode of Tenchi Muyo during an anime night the VOX TV sometime has (they air the first episodes of various animes) and this series is not as energetic. It's more timid and calm, like a slice of life. Kinda reminds me of the anime Double Wish. There are some silly moments and mostly you can't take the anime seriously. But somehow, there is this sad undertone present all the time. Well, maybe it's just me though :)

So, before you download it, take a peek at some communities at LJ or some other reviews. I would hate it should you hate it :D

Ah...yeah, Tenchi Muyo is very energetic. ^^; But it's got its own tragedy and sad plot lines too... your heart goes out to certain characters and it can be heartbreaking at times. *sighs*

But you are right and I don't do sad well. I'll check it out more before I start it. ^__^
