I made a new entry because I wanted to speculate and not mix my thoughts with my review to spare people who stay completely spoiler-free to the point where they don't even watch previews. What do YOU think will happen? I know no spoilers, only what's in the trailer itself, so...

Will both Mary and the child die? Or just Mary? Or just the child? Will John blame Sherlock because it will be a direct result of him going after Magnussen? Will John kill Magnussen?

I fear that John will lose Mary and he will blame Sherlock. And Sherlock will go and kill Magnussen, landing himself in prison for murder. Heartbreak all around with no continuation in sight.

What I wish for? It's obvious that SOMEONE will die. I just want John NOT to blame Sherlock and for them to be together, even with their heartbreak and sorrow and sadness, but together, not apart like in 203.

ACD canon dictates that Mary not be long for this world, so...

Oy... I just totally headdesked myself as I realized that there is now a totally plausible way for this to end up "Two Men and a Baby" and that just... oy...

LOL, Two Men and a Baby. Can you imagine Sherlock with a child, LOL!

I wonder if Mary will be the victim or if she's working with Magnussen. She did recieve a wedding telegramm from CAM - Charles Augustus Magnusses - after all.

You know I kind of hope she's a victim. I like her too much. I don't want her to be in cahoots. I don't want to think that after all the paranoia of Moriarty that neither John nor Sherlock would notice SOMETHING amiss if she wasn't everything she's cracked up to be.

Well, Mangussen did say that Sherlock made one enormous mistake that would lead to the downfall of everyone he loved - what if he meant that Sherlock took Mary at face value, that he didn't doubt anything about her because John loved her. He did think "liar" when he evaluated her for the first time, then it surprised him that she knew what a skip-code was... but every time he let it slide because of John.
