My Musings on Revenge 301-304

katikatThese two... I'm fascinated. And yet, at the same time, I fear that Patrick either isn't Victoria's son at all, that he's an impostor, or that he has some agenda against her, either to destroy her or to get to her money. I guess I'm jaded but... I just can't watch the show with an easy mind because I'm SURE there's more going on. And I don't want that!
I really want Patrick to be genuine, I want his relationship with Victoria to be genuine, I want him to be the one positive, really positive thing in her life. Because I love the way she's with him, so open and happy. I find it incredibly awesome. Just, the way she lights up whenever he's around. And I'm afraid that the writers will destroy that for the sake of some godawful twist :(
I mean, Nolan already found out that Patrick used to be married, that his ex-wife is afraid of him and that he's "a user and a liar" :( That has me really worried. I know American soaps, they love to turn characters bad whenever they run out of ideas or just because - it happened to me with Phillip Spaulding on Guiding Light and I'm still angry about it, even years later. If it happens with Patrick and his relationship with Victoria... It will break my heart.
