So, Monday TV night... Well.

Shows that I follow on DVD - or plan to follow one day, I have so many of them on my Amazon wishlist: The Big Bang Theory, Castle, NCIS:LA

Shows I dropped and/or generally feel meh about: Gotham, Scorpion

New shows I'm not interested in: Life in Pieces

New shows I AM interested in: Blindspot, Minority Report

As far as ratings go, Castle and NCIS:LA returned to series low, so I'm thinking this will be their last season unless they improve drastically. Blindspot had huge ratings - 3.1 demo - it's here to stay for at least one full season, so I'm going to watch it ASAP.

But Minority Report... OUCH! 1.1 demo only. Worst rated show of the night. Fox will be dropping it VERY soon. I think we will be lucky to get at least 13 eps. If it drops any lower next week, Fox will can it. This show is expensive and Fox is losing huge money on it already. They might just cut their losses. I think I'll just download what we get and watch it in one go once it's over. This won't last long... Disappointing, but it's this year's Almost Human.

Yesterday, Harry Shum Jr. held a Twitter chat with the fans of Shadowhunters and some of the best - and most hilarious - things where Harry and Matt Daddario's stand-off about sea urchins - it's their thing, Harry considers them food, Matt most definitely does not, it's completely ridiculous and all kinds of funny - and what Harry had to say about Malec - Magnus Bane/Alec Lightwood, his and Matt's gay couple on the show: "There will be plenty [of Malec] and expect the humor between the two from the books to show up on screen." YES! YES! A thousand times YES! I love this pairing but sadly, in the books it's rather neglected and shoved aside by the main pairing. The fact that the show will remedy that, that the writers AND the exec, McG, LOVE Malec, is giving me hope!

Blindspot: Eh. It didn't grip me. Not even when the bomb was about to blow did I feel any kind of excitement. I love Jaimie Alexander but this is basically The Blacklist, just with a male FBI agent and a female asset - and I know how I faired with that one, I watched and watched until it became a tedious obligation and then I dropped it. I fear the same thing will happen with BS. I think I will just wait a bit, maybe a few weeks, maybe till the end of the season, who knows, try it again and binge watch it. Maybe it will get better. Maybe it won't. But right now, I really don't feel like following this every week.

Scream Queens: No. Just... no. Maybe it's the cultural differences, what with me being Eastern European, but sororities? Stupid girl cliques? Eh. The only interesting thing was Nick Jonas' gay character but not even he's worth this drivel (see the sassy gay character on Faking It, the same situation - one character can't make a show).

Still to try: Minority Report & Limitless.
