Agent Carter

I finally watched all the Marvel one-shots and I liked Item 47 and Agent Carter best, hands down. The former was really funny and the latter kicked ass!

And then I watched the first two eps of the AC show. I definitely liked it more than the first two eps of SHIELD. The plot's interesting and I love the atmosphere, the setting. And Peggy kicks major ass! I love that she's basically the female James Bond. And whenever someone calls her a Mary Sue, I really want to cram their words down their gullet because she's no more a Mary Sue than James Bond is a Marty Sue. And if people don't mind the latter, they shouldn't mind the former.

My favorite part - besides Peggy kicking ass like whoa! - is Peggy and Jarvis' bickering. She's so tough and he so prim! She's the hitter and he's the househusband! I love it!

From me, it's thumbs up, definitely!

The CW has just picked up 8 of their shows!

The series being ordered for the 2015-2016 season include “Arrow” (Season 4), “Jane the Virgin” (Season 2), “Reign” (Season 3), “Supernatural” (Season 11), “The 100″ (Season 3), “The Flash” (Season 2), “The Originals” (Season 3), and “The Vampire Diaries” (Season 7).

I'm especially happy about Supernatural and The Originals. Arrow and The Flash I plan to watch on DVD. But I also plan to sample The 100 and Jane the Virgin - I hear both are really great and the latter has Bridget Regan playing a lesbian!

BTW, that makes SPN the longest running American sci-fi/fantasy show ever, right?
