This show... it left a really bad aftertaste in my mouth. At the beginning, I liked Diana and Cassie. By the end, all I wanted was for Diana to get away, far, far away from the town and her circle as possible. And I think the ending, though very open, was good enough and I'm actually glad that it ended where it did. Because Diana was off with Grant with a chance at normal life and that's all I wanted for her.

I cannot believe just how much Cassie soured herself and her relationship with Diana for me. The way she wouldn't listen to Diana, to anyone but especially to Diana when Diana told her that she was making exactly the same mistakes as her mother what with letting Blackwell in, listening to him. And voila, Diana was right. Ugh...

The only positive thing? That both Charles and his mother regarded Diana as theirs, his daughter and her grad-daughter, even though they both knew that Diana was Blackwell's child. Blood didn't matter to them. That was wonderful. The rest... eh.

And so many famous recurring stars, Gale Harold and Joe Lando the most well known among them. Still, if it hadn't been for Shelley Hennig, I would've dropped the show just a few episodes in.

"The Breath of God" by Guy Adams

Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥

A Sherlock Holmes paranormal novel. A good pastiche. I was surprised by the twist at the end, by who had actually done it. I didn't expect that. And the relationship between Holmes and Watson was quite sweet in this novel, you could feel that despite his harshness, Holmes really cared about Watson and that's important to me. This series is turning out to be rather interesting!
