Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

Went to see the new Jack Ryan movie with the twins today. And it's really good. I liked it as much as Jack Reacher or The Bourne Legacy, which means a lot. It had just the right amount of smarts and action - there were several great and tense, edge-of-the-seat moments. Also, I'm a huge fan of Chris Pine, so... Keira Knightley was pretty cool too and even though I'm not the biggest fan of Kevin Costner, his Harper was great, especially his fondness of Jack Ryan.

I actually feel like reading some of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan books, now that I can imagine him as Chris Pine *_* I usually read books that have been turned into movies only when I actually like the actor playing the main character. And I really, really, REALLY like Chris Pine.

I would give this movie 8/10 or 4/5. It was worth seeing in the cinema. We had to choose between this and Robocop and I'm now glad we chose Jack Ryan.

Trailers seen: 300: The Rise of the Empire, Non-Stop, Need for Speed, The Monument Men. Out of those, only Non-Stop with Liam Neeson made me actually want to go and see it in the cinema. The rest - eh.

Snow Ghost's Hunted from episode 316, Illuminated. That one I adore for its lyrics that eerily fit Stiles' crumbling state of mind, perfectly chosen!
