Great movie! I'm now so sorry that I didn't get to see it in the cinema. It must've looked fantastic on the big screen. The action was simply stunning. I can't believe it cost "only" $70 mil. to make. Wow, just wow!

I'm not a fan of Aaron Eckhart, there's something rather... off about him, IMHO. Or it might be the fact that the first role I've ever seen him in, was the part of Harvey Dent, so yeah... But, gosh, Gerard Butler! He kicked so much ass and it looked so effortless. Man, he's a great action man! I still remember him as Leonidas and his "Tonight, we dine in hell!" shook our theater! Fantastic!

But you know what my favorite part of the movie was? The closeness between Mike and Ben, the president. And between Mike and Connor, the president's son. For once, I really loved a kid in a movie. Connor was simply awesome, so smart and brave. I really hope that the close friendship among these three will be explored more in the upcoming sequel!

Which - YAY! There will be a sequel, set in London this time. How awesome is that? \o/
