I finally, FINALLY watched the 4th movie. Yes, I still haven't finished the series. Go me and all that *hands* And it was pretty good. I don't really get the hype and I think it's way too violent for kids, but it wasn't half bad.
I really liked Robert Pattison as Cedric. His character was wonderful. Dumbledore's speech at the very end actually made me cry. Yes, I bawled like a kid. Cedric's father's reaction... Harry's reaction... Man :( But Robert Pattison was really amazing in this.
And I didn't know that David Tennant was in this. Huh. Interesting.
But my favorite thing is the friendship between Harry and Dumbledore. He really is like a father to Harry. And that's incredibly sweet and moving.
Oh, and I'm really starting to like Severus Snape. I didn't like him much in the previous movies but there's just something about him... I don't know specific details about his character but I know he's much more than meets the eye.
And Voldemort is really, really creepy. Sheesh on a pogo stick. Some of the CGI in these movies isn't the best - in what movie is, right? - but Voldemort, his resurrection and his battle with Harry? Wow.
The creepiest thing, though? The Death-Eaters. Icky.
