Tonight, I got this sudden craving for White Collar. So, I went through all the S4 episodes so far and watched my favorite scenes. Gosh, I love the show so much.

Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay, to watch them have tons of fun doing their job, to watch their affection for each other bleed over into their parts... It's wonderful. Truly, truly wonderful. And when the writers give us lines like...

Peter: And after all those years of chasing you, your cryptic clues, your late night phone calls from international numbers...
Neal: All the cookies and birthday cards...
Peter: I realized I liked you... That’s why I took your deal.

Every time I think they can't go any deeper with Peter and Neal's affection for each other, they prove me wrong. It's wonderful to see Peter regard Neal as his son, as it has been hinted at many, many times - more or less obviously. And to see Neal finally find someone he can trust implicitly. Yeah, once in a while, I get into this OMGOMGOMGSOAWESOME kinda mood :P

"After School Nightmare, Volume 1" by Setona Mizushiro

What a weird manga. And I'm not talking about the shared dreams, that's a part of the setting. I'm talking about the gender and sexuality of the main characters. You see, Mashiro is half boy, half girl. He insists on being a boy, yet he sees himself as a girl in his dreams. Then there's Sou, who's not gay or bi but he's in love with Mashiro because he sees him as a girl, a beautiful girl. And then there's Kureha, who hates men because she was sexually assaulted as a child yet she's in love with Mashiro whom she sees as a boy even though she knows that his genitalia is female. Confusing doesn't even begin to cover it!

If the author planned for Kureha to be a likable character, someone with whom readers could sympathize, she failed - at least in my case. I get that Kureha is a victim and I hate victim blaming and I hate it when people expect victims to just bounce back and be the way they used to be, on everybody else's terms - but it's one thing to be a victim, it's another thing completely to use your trauma as an excuse to be casually cruel and vicious to people who refuse to do what you want. Mashiro is always trying to please Kureha - but I was glad that Sou finally told her to stuff it. She really needed to hear that.

I'm glad that Mashiro's finally starting to open up to Sou, admitting to himself that maybe he isn't a HE after all, maybe he really is a SHE. Sou's attention, his admittance that he loved Mashiro the way she was, a tall, bony, beautiful girl, that it didn't matter to Sou that Mashiro dressed like a boy, trying to convince everybody - herself included - that she was male...

It's a bit difficult to choose the correct pronoun for a review because Sou sees Mashiro as a SHE, Kureha sees Mashiro as a HE and Mashiro? Has no clue. So I guess it depends on the situation and POV.

Yes, it's that Magic Mike SNL monologue. I love it when JGL LOLs so hard. He looks so sweet and relaxed in this clip. And he's talking about being good friends with Channing Tatum - who sent him 2 emails while he was doing that skit, the second one saying "Humping the floor = amazing!" LOL! Gosh, I love them both, JGL and Channing Tatum!

When Dean is honest with himself — and that's rare, that shit is dangerous — he knows that maybe he has been in love with Cas forever, since the first time he'd seen Cas sticking Legos together with that little kid, or when Cas had spent the Mott Christmas party sitting outside in the freezing cold, snatching cigarettes out of Dean's mouth because it was Christmas and Cas has no concept of personal space. And all this time, Dean feels like he's been writing a letter in his head to his kid brother, pages and pages of the most absolutely embarrassing shit: about Cas's good heart and steady hands, about how Sam would like him, how they're both freaks, how Dean must have a soft spot for them.

This fic... This fic is perfect. I just love this Dean and Castiel, they're wonderful and so incredibly sweet together. I love the way they find each other and become a couple. Amazing...
