Doctor Who's Ponds are getting a mini-series spin-off of their own, entirely web based, and called Pond Life: link. The article says:

The adventure has been split into five episodes, which will be uploaded daily [the BBC Doctor Who website and YouTube channel] from noon on August 27 until August 31.

It will focus on Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill), and the "chaos" caused when the Doctor (Matt Smith) "drops in and out of their lives".

The BBC confirmed that Gillan, Darvill and Smith will all star in the adventure and also promised some "unexpected surprises".

"Pond Life provides us with a lovely opportunity to catch up with Amy and Rory since we saw them at the end of the last series," Chibnall said.

"It opens with the Ponds at home and gives us an insight to just what happens when the Doctor drops in and out of their lives. Travelling with the Doctor is one of the greatest things you can do, but it's fun to spend a few moments looking at the chaos he can also bring."

Meanwhile, Doctor Who's executive producer Caroline Skinner described Pond Life as "beautiful, heartfelt and wickedly funny", saying: "It's not long till the series itself will be back with a vengeance - but in the meantime Pond Life is a truly heartwarming piece about our best-loved companions and their madcap relationship with their raggedy Doctor."

Doctor Who will return for its seventh series on September 1, both in the UK and in the US.

That means I should catch up on the show before than, right? *head/desk*

I went to see Total Recall with the twins today - and LOVED it! It was exactly up my alley: great CGI, futuristic setting, car and other chases, big fights - and ass kicking ladies as a bonus! And since I saw both the old and the new version of Total Recall, I honestly don't get people who say that the old one was better. Have you seen it recently? It's incredibly cheesy and the acting is bad, BAD with capital letters. Whoever says that Schwarzenegger is a better actor than Colin Farrell needs to have his or her eyes checked!

The movie was exactly what I wanted and expected it to be. I wished someone else, not Jessica Biel, played Melina, though. Farrell had much better chemistry with Kate Beckinsale and I wish spoilers! ) But other than that, I was really happy with this film.

Another one I'll be getting on DVD for sure. I love it when Kate Beckinsale kicks ass! I would rate it 7/10.

Trailers I saw? Resident Evil: Retribution (great CGI but... zombies, not my cuppa), Premium Rush (\o/) and Looper (eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!).

I revised my 2012-2013 viewing schedule. I lost interest in all the new TV shows except for Arrow and maybe, just maybe Vegas because I've adored Dennis Quaid since Undercover Blues.

Also, at this point, I think I'll just download the shows and marathon them during their hiatuses because I just can't be bothered, seriously. I still haven't finished the latest seasons of Grimm, Doctor Who and The Mentalist, I haven't even started watching Teen Wolf S2, Common Law S1, Continuum S1 or The Glades S3 and I'm so behind on White Collar, Perception and Warehouse 13 that it's not even funny. Mostly, I just feel like rolling on the floor, whining "DON'T WANNA!" like a spoiled brat. Eh. Don't know what's going on.

"There's A Wolf-Shaped Float In This Parade" by concernedlily, read by podcath, knight_tracer, rhea314 | Derek/Stiles | Two ways Sheriff Stilinski finds out and one he doesn't. | 51min.

David barks out a humourless laugh. “So what you're saying is, everyone knew about Stiles and Derek Hale except for me.”

Loved the first bit, read by podcath, best. I so wish this was a part of the canon. Also, stories in which Sheriff Stilinski plays a big role are my favorite. Stiles' relationship with his dad is my favorite thing about the show!
