I really loved what Chris Pine had to say about what it feels like to be under so much pressure from all sides...

Generally speaking, the more money that’s involved in anything, the more people are expecting and hoping that it’s not going to fail. If you’re a part of that process of whether it’s going to fail or succeed, you’re only human and you hope that it does well. But, there’s only so much, as an actor, that you can do. People are either going to respond to it or not, and I would drive myself crazy if I tried to control it anymore than that, other than a really fervent desire that people come and watch it and like it. We at least tried to do a really good job. Critics think we try to make bad films. They think we want to spend five months of our lives making something bad. We always go out with the best of intentions, whether it’s fluffy comedy or a drama. It’s always in the effort of, “Please come, like it, enjoy it, take something away!” Link

I just love that he's such a sweet, down to earth guy who has no illusions of his own grandeur but also doesn't put himself down unnecessarily. And on a very shallow note - the beard! His eyes! Just... *_*

I decided to ditch two shows: The Vampire Diaries and Suits.

The Vampire Diaries: I own S1 and S2 on DVD, I saw the whole S1... and I'm kinda fed up with these characters and their ISSUES. Two 150 year old vampires and a bunch of teenagers decide about the fate of basically everyone in their town. Buffy and her friends at least didn't run around, cheerfully murdering people like it's no biggie. When it's not Damon who's slaughtering people, it's Stefan, everybody is covering for them, Elena is usually in some kind of distress, mind-wiping her brother left and right, Caroline is weeping, Bonnie's hollier than thou, the guys don't know what they want... And the love triangles! There's never a conclusion that's final, the writers always leave a backdoor open and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Shelving the S2 box set to be watched... at some point in the future.

Suits: I barely finished S1. I ffwded through so much shipping BS, I watched like 10 minutes from each episode. Mike and Trevor, Mike and Rachel, Mike and Jenny, Jenny and Trevor, Mike behaving like an idiot again and again and again. And when it wasn't the shipping, it was the backstabbing among the lawyers in the firm. I'm tired of those people's agendas. I'm tired of waiting for the other shoe to drop and someone else to find out about Mike's secret. I just don't like Mike, period! If this was the Harvey and Donna show, I would be all in because Donna is awesome. As it is, eh. I might watch it once the season is over, in one go, but right now, I just can't be bothered.

I guess my "DON'T WANNA" funk continues. Sheesh on a pogo stick, when will it end? *hands*

While promoting his new film, the Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov talked about Wanted 2: link.

"An unbelievable thing happened three weeks ago," Bekmambetov said. "Because we stopped, we didn't know what to do for three or four years. Three weeks ago I came up with a great idea and I pitched this idea and everybody fell in love with it. And now I think we're on track. Right now the writer is working on the script, and it will be shocking."

"It's a continuation of the story, with Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy). Other people are dead, you know, we can't bring them back. The story is the same character, same mythology, but it's got a great twist."

James McAvoy in another action movie? I'm all in! I'm actually really curious about where they'll take it from here. I want to see James kick ass and bend bullets and kill people again. Yeah, I'm bloodthirsty like that XP
