LOL!

kalikahuntress linked me to this wonderful interview - link - with Katrina Law, Mira in Spartacus. The whole interview is fantastic and she comes across as a genuinely warm and nice person. But my favorite part's where she discusses this scene...



And the way Dan Feuerriegel (Agron) and Pana Hema Talyor (Nasir) approached their characters, playing gay:

Dan Feuerriegel [Agron] and Pana [Hema Talyor, who plays Nasir] were so beautiful when it came to the entire process. They’re both straight, but they really wanted to be true to the relationship and the love, and not be two actors that were going, “Okay, we’re going to do this scene, but we’re going to indicate to everybody that we’re still straight.” They said, “No, we’re going to go for this, we’re going to be true, and we’re going to throw ourselves into this as wholeheartedly as we can.”

Aww... just, aww...! Gosh, and I thought I couldn't love them more! No wonder the relationship of their characters feels so true and genuine! I love it when actors aren't afraid to catch the "gay cooties"!

And the part that made me really fall in love with her:

AE: I have to tell you there is some controversy at the website because Agron and Nasir haven’t actually had a love scene yet. Everything has been implied; perhaps it does make it more romantic, but to be honest, we want to see nudity.
KL: (laughter) There’s going to be a Season Three, and I can’t imagine the two of them escaping that for very long, just by the nature of the show. I personally want to see it, too! (...) I am looking forward to their sex scene being hot, heavy, and awesome. I’ll have to rewind it many times to watch it. (laughter)

It's so wonderful to see a cast that ships their own characters so hard! I just want to cuddle them silly. For such a violent show, they are an incredibly heartwarming bunch of people!

Shelter

Finally watched Shelter - yes, yes, spikedluv, I finally watched it. Crazy, I know ;)

What a lovely movie! Zach and Shaun were so incredibly hot together!



They were both so amazing with Cody! And I really liked Gabe's attitude: for him, nothing changed - I loved that he couldn't understand what the big deal was, why was Zach making such a fuss! And I also liked Tori. Sure, she was disappointed when she figured out that Zach was gay but it didn't change the fact that she was his best friend, first and foremost.

Who I really didn't like was Jeannie. Seriously, what a fucked up woman, there's no other way to say it. And so incredibly selfish! Everything was about her and her problems. Sheesh on a pogo stick!

But Zach, Zach was gorgeous. Especially his eyes:
