Michael Fassbender was attached to Guy Ritchie's Excalibur before it was canned? And he should've been in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy but had to drop out because of X-Men First Class? (Tom Hardy took over his part, BTW.) Well, I would've loved to see him in TTSS, but thank you, thank you, thank you, Mr. Fassbender for sticking to XMFC. I'm certain that TTSS will be fantastic, but XMFC wouldn't have been the same without the amazing chemistry between you and James McAvoy!

Well, the heavy rains of the previous few days did a number on our house. Large parts of the south facade simply fell off. Yesterday morning, the facade was okay, then I come back from meeting my boss and... It had to have just dropped off during the morning when I was gone. I've been trying to get in touch with the mason who worked on the west part of our house - he did a really great job there - but so far, no luck *sigh*

According to Cinemaspy, SyFy is considering dropping the BSG: Blood&Chrome project. Are they for real? I mean, I've been defending SyFy and its decisions for years but this? They really are moving more and more away from their roots!

White Collar S3's cast and crew photo here. Wow, that's a lot of people! O.o

BBC ordered S3 of Luther: link.

Well, Jason Momoa's Conan the Barbarian definitely won't pay off - after 10 days, it earned only $22 mil. worldwide. It's too bad. I hoped for a better outing for him in the "big league" :(

"Tsubasa Chronicle Vol. 28" by Clamp

4 stars out of 5

The last part of the series. It was pretty good and there were so many things explained, no wonder this volume was much longer than the previous ones. We found out who Shaolan and Sakura and Shaolan 2.0 and Sakura 2.0 and Watanuki actually were and what happened to them. The ending was slightly open-ended; the main story found its end but it wasn't entirely happy and it opened so many new possibilities. Though I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see some of the characters they had met on their way again and whose story thus remained unfinished, like the vampire twins.

I looked through my movie collection and decided to watch Salt tonight, the film where...

... Angelina Jolie plays Evelyn Salt, an CIA agent accused of being a Russian spy.

What a kick-ass movie. I loved the action sequences, especially Salt running from the agents and jumping from one car to another, the scene on the highway, that was awesome.

Spoilers for the movie! )

Overall, a very good movie. Not Jolie's best, but good nonetheless.
