Day 22: Worst quote

"I... I... I love you. I've loved you for some time now." ~Rodney McKay to Jennifer Keller, The Shrine

That doesn't need any commentary, I think :|

Synopsis... )

Review: Hands down the best ST:TOS tie-in novel I've read so far. Not only are Diane Duane's characters perfectly in-character, the story itself is rather intriguing.

Dr. Leonard McCoy is entrusted the Enterprise temporarily and what should've been a boring day in the captain's chair turns out to be much more complicated. Now, he has to deal with three weird alien species, a missing Kirk, Starfleet bureaucrats, the Klingons and the Orion pirates. I also loved Kirk and the ;At's discussions of the nature of right and wrong which offered me some interesting and rather eye-opening insights.

Watched Safe, Bound, The No-Brainer and The Transformation today - and I can't get enough of this series.

Olivia Dunham is one of the best female heroines that I've ever seen on TV. She kicks major ass on regular basis and even though I didn't like her much in the pilot, now I'm actually smitten! The way she saved herself and overpowered her kidnappers was amazing! I may have even whooped a little ;)

And Peter and Walter... I love Walter's love for his son and the way Peter is opening up to his father slowly. It's the little things that Walter does or says - like when he told Peter that 25 years ago, he built a transporter to bring back a man who died in the 30s to save a dying Peter... Man!

7 eps to go and I'm done with S1! I really love marathoning shows!
