It was a groundbreaking device designed to glimpse alternate universes and government commissioned by a brilliant physicist. Day 07 - Least favorite plot device employed by way too many books you actually enjoyed otherwise:

SEX. I just hate that lately, all books need to be "racy" and "sexy" and whatnot, characters climbing each other like a tree and almost humping each other's leg scene in, scene out, walking around in a perpetually horny state like dogs in heat. Seriously! I think that sex should be the cherry on top of a plot, not the other way around. Sometimes less really is more!
