Bleach, I still love you!

I spent half the morning perusing YouTube, looking for various OPs and EDs of Bleach. Man, I miss the anime so much. I used to watch it avidly, but then it somehow got away from me. You know, you postpone watching one ep, then two and suddenly, you are like 40 episodes behind and totally lost. Though thanks to sharona1x2, I'm the proud owner of the first 11 vols of the manga, so maybe I'll just go the manga way - even though the fight scenes look better in moving pictures ;)

You know what I loved best about the anime? The music. I mean, that creepy, terrifying melody that played every time a Hollow appeared - wow, that was really... eerie. And the scene that I remember best, the one where the Hollow tears open the sky above the city and tries to crawl into our reality... That one creeped the heck out of me. My favorite character? Uryu Ishida. He was rather a tragic character, wasn't he? Both the Reapers and the Hollows destroyed his family and, well, I just loved him!

Man, I really need to read the manga. I'm starting to miss the show more and more \o/

“Holidays just aren’t the man’s strong point,” laughed Neal.

“Neither are birthdays or anniversaries,” she smiled. Brushing her hair back over her shoulder, she leaned forward and took a drink. “I would have left him ages ago if he weren’t so good in bed.” She winked at Neal.

And now I have to wonder just how good Peter actually is in bed! ;)

"Ball and Chain" by Ursula. Peter/El/Neal. Summary: Peter and Neal sound just like Elizabeth and Peter. Length: ~1.900 words.

It is like Burke has two spouses who get along remarkably well.

This one sentence defines the whole fic for me. And not just the fic but the whole show. Even Jeff Eastin mentioned how well Elizabeth and Neal got along and how they teamed up against Peter from time to time which added to the amazing dynamics between them!

Watson's eyes slowly cleared, and he recognized the well-known folds and creases of Holmes's face. His relief at that familiar sight was so profound that he simply went limp for a moment, letting the detective take his weight.

Holmes traced cool fingers across Watson's brow. "Just memories," he said, voice as light and dry as ever, "stirred by the fever. Just memories."

Might be read as pre-slash but I would say it's very much on par with the gen-ness of the movie.

Neal follows Peter back into his office, hops up onto his desk right next to where Peter's filling out paperwork. He flips his hat off and sets it down on Peter's head. Peter smirks up at him, but doesn't remove it immediately. His hand is practically on Neal's thigh.

The Big Bang Theory

Over the weekend, I downloaded a few episodes of TBBT - precisely eps 308-315 - and I have to say I love the show. I haven't liked any sitcom since Sports Night! And the reason why I love this one? Sheldon, of course. He so reminds me of Rodney McKay, just even more neurotic and hypochondrical. I love his comments and deadpan, straight-faced humor! And there's actually a character called Kripke? Ha, that's cool 8)

Matt Bomer's the cutest, really

Watch this vid and tell me that Matt Bomer isn't as cute as a kitty! The glasses just kill me and I want to smish him silly \o/

Also, I didn't know that he played a male prostitute on Guiding Light! Ha! No wonder, with his looks, he would have made a career in that business ;)

ETA: I really love this scene from Chuck. Matt just rocks in it!
