After seeing this spoilery photo for NCIS' premiere, I'm all psyched for S7 to begin! *bouncebouncebounce* Not even a month now!

ETA: And the promo for 7x01! Yay!

Yay, I'm holding ST: Enterprise S2 in my hands! *coos* How awesome is that? But when will I watch it when I'm trying to marathon SPN right now? *ponders*

So, what am I missing now? My main goals these days...
Stargate SG-1 S10
Star Trek: Enterprise S3+4
NCIS S5+6
Supernatural S4 - on its way to me! *bounces*

Other stuff I want:
X-Files all of it
Babylon 5 all of it
Criminal Minds all of it

Me a hamster? Naaaaaaah! ;P

Synopsis... )

Review: Not bad. Actually, it was pretty good! Once Salvatore stops focusing so much on Drizzt's "woe is me" attitude, his books are actually worth reading, go figure. I loved Drizzt and Catti-brie's adventures on the Sea Sprite, together with Deudermont, Robillard and Harkle Harpell. That was really cool. Though it is a bit annoying that Salvatore writes Catti-brie like she's the best thing that ever happened to anybody who met her. I for one would prefer to learn more about Cadderly's wife. The whole Drizzt+Catti-brie+Wulfgar triangle is getting old.

Synopsis... )

Review: Wow. Okay, the beginning was a bit slow and it took me a while to get into the book - but then I couldn't put it down. The world that John Meaney built is stunning, a world where everything runs on the power of the dead, mostly their bones. It's scary and creepy and it takes time to get used to, to be perfectly honest. The setting aside, this is basically a mystery book. I fell in love with it once Donal joined Laura's team. I'm now really curious how the team members will react to what happened in the last chapter, at the very end of the book. That means I will be reading the next one in the series for sure!

The most captivating quote? Do you hear the bones?

The final volume of "Kizuna" is out, vol. 11, but when I picked it up, I realized that I had no idea what happened in the previous ten books anymore. Thus a re-read was in order. I admit that I've always been a bigger fan of the Enjoji/Ranmaru pairing than of Masa/Sagano. But I love the way Enjoji and Sagano bicker, they really are brothers!

1x14, Nightmare: I loved all the little scenes with Sam and Dean in this one. Like the one where Sam had his first real vision and his head started to hurt. Or when he used telekinesis to push the cupboard aside to save Dean. And Dean's expression in the last scene, as he was leaving the cabin... Aww. And his words turned out to be actually true - as long as Dean was around, Sam toed the line, more or less. Once Dean was gone, Sam turned dark. Some cool foreshadowing there, Dean really is Sam's moral compass.

1x15, The Benders: I think this was the scariest episode of S1, at least for me. Like Dean said: "Demons I get, people are crazy." And Dean ordering Sam not to do that again, not to disappear on him like that again... Aww.
But what made this ep special for me was Jessica Steen - I've adored her since Home Front and Earth 2 and even waaaay back, Captain Power! I usually don't like secret siblings popping up in shows, but when she appeared as Frazer's sister on due South, I was totally excited.

1x16, Shadow: I loved that both Sam and Dean were really smart in this one: Sam saw through Meg and Dean noticed the symbol. And then there was the scene that broke my heart, the one where Sam told Dean that he would have to let him go eventually. I felt so sorry for Dean, it's true that everybody keeps leaving him :(
