"You should drop out of school and finally find a job."

I was studying for my MA in history and German language at that time - which I finished Summa Cum Laude - and working part time as a translator. I literally told my aunt to stuff it. I was so angry I couldn't see straight.

Synopsis... )

Review: Average at best. It's a quick read but all the time I couldn't help thinking that I saw all of it done in other books already. The only remotely original thing was the hair color red for vampires. Other than that... Also, Sabina was, at least for me, quite an unlikable character. Her obsession with pleasing her grandmother made her insensible to anything else. The moment she killed her friend, probably the only one she had, just because her grandmother told her so and without even asking him to explain his so called crimes, it became so hard for me to connect with her that I almost didn't finish the book. And there were other tiny things that irked me too (Driving a bike in stilettos? Really?), so the end result was rather disappointing. I'm not sure if I will read another book in the series.

The promo pics for Numb3rs' ep 6x01 made me very happy! The more scenes with David and Colby we get, the better! *bounces* They are my OTP in this show!

And Royal Pains! I just watched the pilot and it awesome! Like watching MacGyver/ER in the world of The Bold and the Beautiful! I will have to get my hands on more eps! :)

SLASH --> McShep: "Betrayal" by Yin. Humor pure, set after EatG. Words: ~1000.

This part made laugh and giggle:

Rodney to John: “Just tell me what you folded, bent, spindled, or mutilated and I’ll fix it and only mock you about it for a couple of weeks, promise.”
