The synopsis of the SGA audiobook "Impressions" read by Kavan Smith aka Maj. Evan Lorne is out! And it sounds awesome!
"'I've painted this city from every angle - inside, outside, day, night. I suppose you could say I'm trying to tell its story.'

Plagued by blackouts, painting strange pictures in his sleep, Major Evan Lorne begins to fear that he's losing his mind. Has the stress of life in the Pegasus galaxy pushed him over the edge? Then, when Atlantis itself begins to behave strangely, the Major wonders if something else entirely is going on. But with his behaviour becoming increasingly erratic, who can he trust? And can the soldier convince his colleagues that the answer lies in his paintings?"

Meeeeeep! Lorne h/c! And his paintings! They finally utilize the fact that Lorne is a painter! That's like so awesome. I just can't wait. I love that Lorne is featured so prominently in the tie-in novels and now a whole audiobook just about him and read by Kavan Smith too! *bounces off the walls*

The author of this book is Scott Andrews - I love it when men write h/c! - and it comes out June 30th. I will definitely pre-order that one! Awesome, awesome, awesome.

And the other two SGA audiobooks that will come out this year, will be read by Paul McGillion and David Nykl again :) I would have preferred someone new - like, I don't know, Jeannie Miller or actually one of the main team - but those two did an amazing job with the previous audiobooks so no complaining here!

According to Big Finnish's magazine, they will start producing Highlander audiobooks too, 4 this year, beginning this April. And all of them will be read by Adrian Paul. That could be really cool! *bounces*

Too bad that I'm not a Dr. Who fan, though. I would love Big Finnish if I were...

Wow, what a page-turner. I was on the edge of my seat most of the time! I really liked both David and Chris, their personalities, the fact that even though Chris was your usual cute Californian boy, David was anything but. And the mystery was quite intriguing too. I mean, I thought that I had the baddie pegged right away but boy, was I wrong or what? Also, it was a gay mystery without detailed sex scenes that would take pages and pages of text, the author didn't shirk the plot and that was quite awesome. Sure, the description of the murder scenes and of the victims was quite graphic but other than that, it was definitely R-rated. I hope that the author continues writing!
