McKay/Keller vs. Dex/Keller
Oct. 13th, 2008 05:33 pmTo be honest, I would prefer for the whole romancing part to stay in the fanfic authors' fantasy realm. Romance between the main characters never helped any show since it's mostly viewed as the last resort to keep the series going and on an action series, it totally takes the viewer away from the actual action. But I found this answer by Joseph Mallozzi interesting:
Question: "I said the writers were mean to Ronon. Can’t he have anything? Seven years on the run and now 4 years in Atlantis. Why can’t he find a girl that is right for him? Someone to love him for who he is."
Answer: Who says he won’t?
Okay, what does that mean? Do they plan to tease the viewers with McKay/Keller and then twist it and let Jennifer find her true and only love with Ronon? Or do they - oh, the horror! - plan to give Ronon another love interest? (As if one wasn't too much already!) Or is he totally leading us on? Hm...
