SGA's Sateda was watched and very much enjoyed! One of the best episodes this show has had so far, definitely. The action, the music, the settings, the story itself, the interaction between the characters... Awesome!
Oh my, Ronon kicked some serious ass in this ep. That was like one long action sequence. And how he was willing to die for his team! And then the little chat between Sheppard and Teyla in the mess hall, how he just couldn't squeeze the right words out and she kept finishing his sentences for him :) The whole "I would do anything for any one of you" thing was... oh my, I felt like squishing Sheppard silly. And then on Sateda, how he kept adding dead Wraith to his kills and Teyla always looked at him, hehe. Oh, and Rodney and Carson arguing about who is the bigger Rambo... XP
In the commentary, Robert C. Cooper and Brenton Spencer (the director/writer and the director of photography, respectively) talked about how much they enjoyed filming this episode and Cooper said that after Jason Momoa had read he script, he came to Cooper's office, hugged him tight and thanked him for this episode. And Jason did most of the stunts himself, even the fight in the dark - he and the stunt coordinator really did fight in a complete darkness. They also said that this episode just blew their budget, it was way, way over but they decided to do it anyway and then they were really happy about it because fans kept talking about the awesomeness of Sateda the whole season through.
Also, according to Brenton Spencer, Joe Flanigan has a nice sense of humor. He usually reacts in a very wry kind of way to things. And Robert Cooper said that Jason Momoa is nothing like his character, that when Cooper went for a dinner with him, Jason pulled his hair back, put his glasses on and dressed up and he turned out to be a really soft-spoken intellectual, so it's funny to see him play such a "savage".
And let's not forget some ( funny quotes... )
