Caught up!

Yay, I finally caught up on Women's Murder Club - the strike is good for something after all :D This series is so good and I'm so disappointed that it's getting such low demo ratings. The cases are so interesting but I love it mostly for its characters! It's quite unusual for me to actually like female characters because most of them aren't really well written. But Lindsay is and I love her! :)

Also, this is the first series where I actually see the possibilities of femslash! (Xena and Buffy don't count because there actually was a lesbian relationship there.) For me, it's Lindsay and Cindy. They just click! But I have yet to find a femslash story with them that would actually catch my interest. I would like to read a case fic, a long and really involved story. So far, I have found only short ones. Too bad that this fandom is so small *sigh*

Moonlight

So, I started watching Moonlight again. I'm up to ep 1x07 now. It's not a bad show but I still watch it only for Jason Dohring who plays Josef Konstantin in it. As I found out, Rade Serbedzija had been cast for the part of Josef at first. Well, don't get me wrong, I bet that Rade is a great actor but he wouldn't have drawn me to this series. I think that the fact that the Josef that we know now looks younger than Mick but he is older at the same time makes the whole vampire thing more interesting! And don't forget the slash potential between Mick and Josef :P

And that leads me to the het ships in this show. Well... uh... *sigh* To be honest, Mick and Josef have a much better chemistry than Mick and Beth or, god forbid, Mick and Coraline. I mean, Coraline reminds me of a junkie slut and Beth... well, Beth is a cute... sister. I think it's great that they cast Sophia Myles for the part because a) she can act and b) she is a real woman, no skinny wraith. But still... Mick and Josef - yes, Mick and Beth - no *shrugs*

Oh, and another thing - I love the guys' apartments! Mick's fireplace looks like ice burning which is awesome. And Josef's villa... and his office... the huge mural... *iz dead* Love it!

Fanfiction

I'm not really into fanfiction these days, writing it or reading it. I entered yet another book!phase but this fic, I needed to read and rec:

"Dante's Prayer" by henchgirl. It's a Supernatural/Blood Ties xover, the latest part of her series that features the Henry/Dean pairing. In this story, Sam calls Henry, telling him about the deal Dean made, and asks for help. The fic made me actually cry... Especially this part: He can be Horatio, he can remember whys and hows and most importantly who, and live to tell the stories of a green-eyed boy with a black muscle car and a gun in his waistband, a hunter and a hustler, who's seen too much and given too much, who's saved hundreds of people that never even knew his name.
