I just watched Stargate SG-1, ep 901 and wow! It really floored me. I must say that I didn't have this much fun watching SG since... well, actually I don't remember if I ever enjoyed an ep so much. Well, there were the Urgo and the Invisible!Daniel eps... But this one! Wow, I'm really speechless.

I've seen people calling it a "sequel" to the "original" series and it really does give you this feeling. It's so fresh and new and shiny! :) Ben Browder and Claudia Black are incredible. To be honest, I really don't miss Jack. Or Carter for that matter. I really had enough of her love life in the last season :S And I'm so happy that the whole Jack/Sam ship is finally over. It was ruining the whole series. Some of the eps were like a bad harlequin story, really X( And to be honest, I wouldn't mind if Carter stayed where she is and Vala took her place. Yup, I would really prefer this one :D

Oh, question - you know the scene in the infirmary? The one where Daniel says "If I kill her, I die"? What does Teal'c reply? I can't understand his answer properly and it's driving me nutty! X(

Off to watch Atlantis! I have only 1 GB of free space left on my computer, so a summer cleaning is more than necessary!

there is an article in this month's SFX (a british sci fi mag) that says that Stargate was designed solely for women, that they have a woman more attractive out of fatigues and surround her by good looking men so that women can place themselves in her position. That although the basis of the show seems designed for men that they have twisted it for women. It was a woman who wrote the article too. I thought it funny.
