Star Trek Into Darkness

My reaction? Benedict, BENEDICT, BENEDICT, BENEDICT, BENEDICT!!! OH MY GOD, HE NAILED IT! Purrfection pure. Gosh... Whenever he was on-screen, I looked pretty much like this: ♥_____♥

Khan was rocking fantastic! I want to know more about this Khan. His devotion to his people was amazing. The scene where he asked Kirk what he wouldn't do for his family, was... WOW! Can you imagine the devotion this man must have inspired in his people? No wonder they froze them, they could've taken over the world!

My favorite scenes?

♦ Khan kicking the Klingon's ugly butts while Kirk, Spock and Uhura were all O_O! Goshy goshy gosh!

♦ Bones and Carol dismantling the torpedo. First the awkward flirting, then all "Bones In Danger!" Kirk's relief... Aww!

♦ Sulu being a bad-ass captain!

♦ Scotty saving the day!

♦ The fact that Khan survived, that they froze him again. I mean, what could've they done? Only death could've stopped him. Even if they locked him up, it would be just a matter of time before he broke out and caused havoc!

♦ Spock and Uhura arguing in front of Kirk.

♦ Kirk's death. Even the destruction of Vulcan and Amanda's death didn't manage to bring Spock to tears. That was wonderful. I adore their friendship, the fact that it took Kirk's dying for Spock to really GET it.

♦ Bones' reaction to Kirk's death, Kirk's resurrection. God, I adore it when Bones is all competent and bad-ass!

Contrary to popular belief, I loved Carol Marcus. I loved Ben as Kahn. I thought that every one of the crew member had much to do, nobody was sidelined. I thought they worked perfectly together. And I didn't mind Pike dying that much. Oh, I liked him a LOT, don't get me wrong but there comes a point where a character has to grow up and ride on his own - like the Winchesters with John and Bobby, Kirk needed to lose Pike.

I would give it 9/10. Loved it! And I want to see it again next week, if possible! \o/
