Thank you so much,
yami_tai! The CDs are here! *smooch*
It's raining and raining and raining and raining...
Oh, I finally watched Loveless, ep 12. I found it rather anti-climatic. Some things happened too fast (the whole code thing), others just didn't fit at all (the whole Seimei plot). I had a feeling that the author simply picked a place in the story and put an ending together in a haste without giving it much thought. There were no explanations, some of the plot twists had no roots in the past episodes (do I need to mention Seimei again?) and the whole dream thing... nya nya. It reminded me too much of the craziness in the last eps of Neon Genesis Evangelion. To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed. Don't take me wrong, I love the fact that there was no tragical ending but... It could have been much better.
And Trinity Blood was licensed... Well, it was a good series but some of the characters... -_-;; I adored Abel and our cute robot-kun ^_^ But Sister Esther... *rolls her eyes* Whenever she popped up on the screen I started to yawn. No life, no energy. She could be just a part of the background and she would have made the same impact. And her voice... O.o Sister Catherine! Yay, that was a woman but Esther... To be honest, I think she destroyed the whole series.
And it's raining and raining and raining and raining... >.

Date: 2005-07-06 10:33 am (UTC)Oh, I hope you aren't put off... I actually liked the ending. I thought it was open enough to hint at a second season and it was as traumatic as I thought it was going to be either. Plus there was a lovely Ritsuka/Soubi moment at the end too ^_^!

Date: 2005-07-06 06:07 pm (UTC)And you know, I think I would have liked the last ep of Loveless better if it really had been that traumatic. That would be at least a step forward - I hate the pink brainless baka - but after seeing the series as a whole, I must say that 90% of the eps gave me the feeling of fillers. No progress whatsover, just wallowing in one problem. Every pairing there reached at least some progress - especially the various zero couples - but Soubi and Ritsuka? Nada! >.<
